HomePod HomePod repair - ribbon torn

Hey,

So as per the title I'm repairing my HomePod to replace the solenoid that's gone on the amp board. But I've encountered my first issue, the ribbon cable that runs from the inside bottom of the HomePod to the top, has a tear in it. I must have caused this somehow. My question is what do I do? Can the ribbon be replaced? Is that HomePod officially unrepairable now?
