I have two (2) Mini's that I noticed today that while updating to 17.2 Beta the update downloaded twice. Once for each of the Mini's. I did the update from an iPhone 14 Pro running the 17.2 Beta on a 2G WiFi. The Mini's are NOT a stereo pair but are on the same WiFi network. I have not noticed this on previous updates, could have just missed it.
Is this normal ?

The iPhone doesn't download the update and push it to the HomePods. The HomePods actually download the updates themselves and the iPhone is just showing the status. Since you have two HomePods, it makes sense it showed as downloading twice.

Thanks, makes sense. I thought that the Home Hub did the downloads.
