I hope someone can help. apart from explorer running slow. I am having problems with hotmail. when I try to attach a file & click on the attach tab, the drop down menu doesn't appear. Any suggestions?

Stop using Internet Explorer
It's now no longer supported by Microsoft; so they won't be fixing any bugs like you describe. I just tried the drop down attach menu in Safari and it works fine.
