CarPlay How Can I Change This?

if you look in the lower right corner it is showing a calendar appointmen...in this case an employees vacation. When that is active the garage door doesn’t pop up as I approach my house. I don’t want to see calendar stuff on my CarPlay, how can I remove it?Thx!!

Haven’t seen a way to remove that but it should automatically get replaced with your garage door when you get near home. That’s what mine does. Always.

go to the settings app on the actual CarPlay screen.
Within that app find dashboard
Below dashboard, turn off suggestions

It's also possible that turning off suggestions may turn off the garage opener pop-up. But its surely worth a try.

That will stop the garage opener as well. Its all part of the Siri Suggestions set up i think that is showed in that box.
