How can I install QuickBasic in Parallels?

Hey guys,

I need to run QuickBasic in Parallels for school. I'm running XP SP2 in Parallels, but can't figure out how to run QuickBasic. When I download 4.5, it won't open because of some 16 bit run time error. When I download some 7.1 or something, it opens, but my fans go crazy and XP basically freezes after a few seconds. Tried it on a real PC and it did the same thing.

I know it's a DOS app, but it's running on XP Pro at school, so why won't it run for me?

Any Windows experts have any ideas?
