Have you tried disabling Suggestion on Lock Screen in Settings -> Maps -> Siri & Search

I’m attaching a photo. I’ve tried disabling the first option but I still get annoyed whenever i get in my car.

I've never done this because I don't mind them but if you turn off notifications it shouldn't notify you.

Well, see, the thing is although I detest having the original notification pop up whenever I get into my car, I don't mind at all when banners from Maps show up giving me directions and im in the music app or sending a text. Turning off Notifications for the Maps app seems like it would disable that.

I usually don’t read the notifications while driving. I prefer to listen to voice. You could turn off Significant Locations in Privacy> Location Services> System Services. I’m pretty sure if you turn that off you won’t get suggestions because Siri doesn’t know where you go.

I have a feeling you're going to tell me that you like knowing where you've been ?

I’m with OP, I got these when leaving as well. They are based on my predicated destination and are mostly wrong. That is kind of annoying, but I hadn’t tried to turn it off. I suspect it’s not maps though, this is based on the predictive learning stuff, maybe in Siri?

Perhaps related to frequent locations?

Hm I have a setting that does not appear on yours. It's the last one I am referring to.

That may be a five year old article, but it worked for me! My phone was reminding me to head to work everyday, I'm very happy to turn this off, thanks so much!

In iOS 13 I believe it’s called ‘significant locations’ I just turned it off so hopefully next time I get in my car it won’t bug me.

thanks!
