How can I upgrade Macbook Pro Mid-2015 to superfast SSD that can be FileVault encrypted?

i am looking for the ultimate internal ssd speeds

i also need to be able to encrypt that with Apple FileVault

Check the big stick thread on upgrading 2013/2014 MBPs. I am not sure if it applicable to the 2015, but is a good place to start.

You’ll want an adapter that supports 4 lanes.

I’ve been using a Sintech one + a 2TB Samsung 970 for about two years with no issues (except hibernation, you’ll typically need to disable it with non-Apple SSDs). Went from a 256GB SSD. Couldn’t be happier.
