I have an Western Digital external hard drive that's specifically for macs and I need to access that info on it from my windows computer. I have tons of media on it and I really need to get it to my desktop. When I plug it into my windows computer, nothing pops up. The files aren't osx specific, they're mainly pictures and such.

Windows cannot read HFS+ formatted drives natively. You need to get something like HFS for Windows by Paragon

I never knew something like that existed. Thanks for that, I'll give it a try :D

edit: trial version worked like a charm. I wish it recognized it as a removable drive but it's not that big of a deal.
