Hi! I was wanting to reformat my iBook, and I was wondering how I would go about this. I dont want any bit of OS 9 on there, just Jaguar, a clean reformat, how is this done?

Boot from your OS X install disk, open Disk Utility, erase the HD, partition if you so desire (don't personally see the need), install the OS, wonder why you need so many language packs. That's about it.

While you're at it, you might want to upgrade the RAM on your iBook. 192MB is a little light for OS X. $100 will buy you a 512MB stick.

When my second memory stick wasn't recognized, my iBook booted OS X Server 10.2 with only 64megs of RAM :D it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.

But YES, you should max out the RAM.
