As per title... I have seen online that it relates to 2 letters before the slash in the model number but that isn't what I mean as mine is ZD, which apparently means "Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Luxembourg, Monaco, Netherlands, Switzerland" (weird as I'm in the UK?), I was more trying to find where it was actually made - does anyone know how to do this?

It's not possible anymore since Apple is unsing random serial numbers since some years now.
The two letters you are referring to are the region the iPhone is made FOR.

Interesting, I wonder why mine wasn't made FOR the UK when that's where I bought it from! 🥴

Right on the back of the box - My 15 Pro assembled in China. Never knew about the USB connector, though!
