I have 2 pairs of AirPods (original & v2) I lost my v2 AirPods last week. I opened up find my & saw that my original AirPods were found, but not the v2. I ended up buying another pair on a black friday sale, but just today, I found the v2's. They were under my bed, about 2 feet from the original AirPods.
I'm trying to understand why Find My couldn't find the v2's. As soon as I opened up the case, I got an alert that my phone had found them, but if you need to open the case to find the AirPods, it seems like that kind of defeats the purpose of having Find My to begin with.
