Lately I've re-enabled Screen Time, and it feels different than when I've been using it one or two years ago.

I set time limits for apps, and it feels like the time passes by extremely fast.

I've been observing it, and I'm wondering if the OS counts it as screen time when the app is open in the background.

I can explain some of the stats only this way.

Some other stats seem off as well: It e.g. says I've spent 50 minutes in the calculator app today.

Umm, I certainly haven't. I mean, yes, it's been running in the background. Sometimes also side by side with another app. But even then, with the focus on the other app, and not the calculator app.

I feel like I've had this issue on my iPhone as well by the way.

Would like to hear your experience, peeps.
