Let's say I have a house with a couple of guest bedrooms. I put in some TVs and Apple TVs. If no one stays in one of those rooms for years (or just never watches TV), how long will Apple TV continue to download and install tvOS updates?

How long with Apple TV continue to install updates if left totally alone?

Until Apple stops providing them or you decide to prevent them from doing so.
Ok that's neat I guess. As long as it's plugged in, it'll continue to update tvOS and the apps too, I'm guessing.
as long as you have auto updates turned on, then it should just go until that model is no longer supported.
