Whatever the breakdown is, you need to keep in mind that there was a ton of non-recoverable engineering cost involved with the casing and assembly prototyping and tool set-up, so, regardless of the profit per MBA, they'll need to sell quite a few to break even.

That said, they probably have about a pretty good margin on them - I'm guessing 40% or perhaps even better.

but comparing prices of or SSD drives the only other 64gb one ive seen is going for 1500, so im wondering if they arent selling that drive at cost
