I cant seem to find the answer to this online.

You can find specs on all Apple products:
  • By visiting EveryMac.com
  • By using Mactracker (hasn't yet been updated with 2011 models)
  • By entering your serial number here to find specs for your model.
    (Be aware that some models can use more RAM than Apple shows. Check EveryMac or MacTracker to verify.)

Let me guess... you checked using the serial number method I posted, right? If you had also checked the other two, you would see it supports up to 6GB, even though Apple only says 4GB. I edited my earlier post for clarification.
