I recently took advantage of the Black Friday offer and got a $100 gift card (electronic) on an M1 MBA. Today I traded in my 2019 MBA and got another gift card (physical) for $480. I don't have any immediate plans to buy any Apple gear. I guess I could use the $100 for making payments for Apple Music and iCloud storage, $10.98 per month.

Do I need to be concerned about the security of the $480 physical card? I do have a receipt that goes with it. If there's a hack and someone tries to use it, would I get notified?

Someone would also have to get access to the card's PIN. I've used Apple gift cards for years now and never had a problem with them. They're safe.
