tvOS How to activate focus for a custom button

Hi all,

I'm creating a testing app for tvOS, I would like to have a button with a custom icon instead of the standard text title. By doing so it seems that the button losts the focus capabilities. Somebody knows what is the correct way to create a button with an icon in tvOS?
