Hi,

i want to control my smart devices (Homekit) quick. Is there a way to add Home device toggles to the MacOS control center (Sonoma)?
🤨
It's very annoying to open the Home app every time for switching on a light or a plug.

Thanks,

pappl

you can control your home from shortcuts, and you can add shortcuts to the menu bar or dock on your mac.

you could add some "smarts" to it also, so you'd only need one shortcut to toggle a light

to add things to the dock, right click and add to dock
to add to menu bar, drag the shortcut to the menu bar section on the left. You'll get a single shortcuts icon in the menu bar, clicking that will bring up a list of the shortcuts you've put there.
