Was thinking of getting husband an 11... he has a 10...I think this would be an upgrade....bc his phone is down to 90 percent battery life and the camera should be better right? But how can I buy it without access to his account? He hates upgrading. We have different carriers for service.

If you buy the sim-free version outright from Apple they don’t ask for any carrier info.

Hopefully you mean iPhone 11 pro not just the iPhone 11. Not that I know your husband but he might not like the iPhone 11 and miss his X.

What is better about his X? Besides the screen? He hardly uses his phone. He will just appreciate battery and camera. We have an important trip coming up.

I mean, if he hardly uses his phone, it may not make much sense to go from the X to the 11. Unless money is no object, it may be best to research the phone a bit and consider his usage of it. Maybe run it by him?

What is he missing with the 11 that he has in the X? I’ve been married to him for 15 years...how much time should I spend researching his usage? I feel like I know him pretty well by now.

I think is beneficial here to clarify the 11 and the 11 pro are completely different phones. I think the OP here means the 11 Pro.
