How-to change Country of User?

I am planning on moving back to the US from Canada. I was wondering if there is a way to switch my Country so that I can access iTunes USA without having to reinstall OSX.

.Mac preferences should be what you're looking for but I'm at work on Windows right now so can't check.

Don't know if you'll need a US credit card and biling address aswell mind.

The iTunes music store works on where your credit card is based. If you have a US card with a US billing address you can access the US store.

Edit to add: resintalling OSX will have no effect on this.
