Hi there. I have a 2017 refurb iMac 27" running Mojave 10.14.5.
I would like to disable needing to enter my password after the screensaver or screen is turned off. But I already went to System Preferences/Security & Privacy/General and unchecked "Require password (optional time) after sleep or screen saver begins". Doesn't matter what I set that option to, I always have to enter the password. When I uncheck the box, I also click Turn Off Screen Lock, and Keep Using Keychain. That should do it, right?
While I do share this iMac with other users, I trust them, so I don't need the password after every screen saver. I use Hot Corners to activate screen saver and screen turn off, as well as they activate after certain amounts of time.
Also, this option previously worked fine, unfortunately I'm not quite sure which Mojave update broke the functionality.
