I would like to try to run iMovie HD on OS 10.13.6. Some have claimed that this is possible, but it is necessary to remove iMovie from the file...

/System/Library/CoreServices/CoreTypes.bundle/Contents/Resources/Exceptions.plist

I went into Get Info but wasn't able to figure out how to gain access to edit this file. I am the owner of the computer. Any suggestions?

I believe that file resides on the System Volume which is sealed. You can’t change the file. Perhaps from Recovery in Terminal?
