How to get a DUNS number?

I have just set up a limited company this morning with Companies House (UK) and it is now listed on their website and I have a company number.

I have gone to the DUNS search:

My company is not found.(It also says you only get three searches)

1) Do you have to wait a while before D&B get updated info from companies house? If so any idea how long? (D&B don't let you phone them for DUNS enquiries)
2) Is this the best way to get a DUNS number? A tutorial recommended using the Apple DUNS lookup tool. Is this a better way? Do I still need to wait to try this method too?

A DUNS number is automatically assigned, although I couldn't find it when I needed it, so I emailed D&B to enquire about it, and they emailed me straight back with my number. They also said it can take up to 10 days for the number to filter through the systems.
