Carrier How to get rid of “flash” messages?

For the past few days, I have been getting “flash” SMS messages. I have seen others on Reddit report the same. They can’t find a fix either.

It takes over my whole screen and says “SMS Message 2023 Deadline Notice ObamaCare needs approval by the deadline. Please call (phone number).

I can Dismiss it, but I want them to stop. It’s obviously a scam. It’s getting very annoying though.

Any ideas on how to stop this? I have ATT, have a 12 pro max, on 16.1.2.

There is no way to stop them sadly

Only got one so far thankfully.
