I noticed in my wife’s Audi, Siri will say the sender’s name with incoming texts thru CarPlay. Is there a way to enable that in my Jeep or is that just a “manufacturer” thing. Thanks in advance.

I have that in my 2020 Ram 1500 which is pretty much the same as Jeep/UConnect.
What is it prompting when a message comes thru?
I just get the normal notification “ding” and the message pops up on the screen. I want it to actually say “message from ______”.
Pretty much. Ask your wife to send you a text when you get in. There should be a little announce messages icon on the left side of the screen where all the recent CarPlay apps are (that vertical stack of apps). See pic below.
You can also adjust these settings in the CarPlay settings screen.
OK, I got it to work, but was more wanting it to just say "Message from ________" and not play the message until I actually press it on the screen. Is that possible?
You got it. I would’ve told you that right away but I was under the impression you wanted it to work the way your wife’s Audi does.
