Hi, I just formatted my iMac Late 2012, with macOS Catalina 10.15.7, the maximum possible officially for this computer.

Now I was downloading the Pages app from the App Store, but it tells me that a minimum of macOS 11.0 is required.

But how is it possible that I cannot download the latest version compatible with my Mac anyway since I had it before formatting, now I don't remember what version number it was.

What can I do?

can you pull it off a time machine backup?
No, I don't use Time Machine, but I just solved it!

Instead of using the the download cloud in the Pages App Store page, you need to go to the Account > Purchases section, find the Pages app in the list and click the download cloud there. The message will appear that the latest version available is not compatible with the operating system, but if you want you can download the latest version compatible with the operating system used, in my case Catalina 10.15.7.

I downloaded Pages 11.1.

Thanks!
