I'm puzzled because I've organized an audio book (several chapters which are intended to be played after each other) on my Mac (in iTunes), but when transferred over to my iPad the tracks play in an alphabetical order (not the way I organized them in iTunes).
Within the "Audiobooks" section ("Books" app on my iPad) there is a "sort by" option (Recent, title, author, manually), but that's only for organizing the entire audiobook collection, not the individual contents inside a specific audiobook. I can't find a sort option for the contents of each audiobook though.
I'm using an iPad Mini (5th gen.) with iOS 14.8.
My Mac is running MacOS 10.13.6 (High Sierra) with iTunes 12.8.3.1.
