How to put widgets on a dedicated desktop?

I have three desktops (on one monitor, my laptop). I'd like for widgets to be on the desktop, but only one desktop (ie, Desktop 2, for example). When I tested, the widgets showed on all three desktops, and there doesn't seem to be an option to contain the widgets to only one desktop.

Am I missing something?
