How to read Apple ebooks in iOS?

Since Tim won't fix iBooks so we can read in two page spreads as most book lovers prefer, what will open Apple ebooks so we can enjoy the books we have purchased from Apple already. Will Kindle open Apple ebooks?

And, no, changing fonts does not fix iBooks.

I won't be buying further Apple ebooks.

iBooks changed later to allow two page spreads. But I still will not buy Apple ebooks. No two page spreads told me iBooks is not a priority. You can't even SHARE w pdf editor apps when you edit pdfs saved into iBooks, so if you change a page one of a pdf, iBooks does not display the edit.
