iPhone 7/Plus How to reduce file size of photo's taken with iPhone7+ ?

I have an iPhone7+.

Photo's taken are about 2MB in size.

This is too large to send several of them as attachments to emails.

How to change my iPhone7+'s settings to take photo's that result
in file sizes of about 600KB ?

The Apple mail app allow you to choose what option you want for the file size you're sending (just after you pressed to send it and if your email contain an image). I hope it does respond to your problematic.

The Mail app lets you choose the size after you send it (before it gets sent) or you can resize them yourself with the app linked below:
