Hi,
Usually after finishing my work on my Mac running Mojave, I backup to an external CCC drive.
To avoid that I have to wait until the backup is completed and eject the external drive , I'd like to run a script to automatically do that for me (CCC provides the option to run a script after completing a task).
This way the Mac goes to sleep without disconnecting the external drive and the next morning all is good.
I prefer to run a script without installing 3rd party software , I hope someone could advise me how to do that.
There's an option to unmount the drive after completing the task, but in this case the external drive contains multiple partitions, most of them dedicated to a specific clone.
CCC is set up to clone A, clone B and clone C automatically , but I cant unmount the device itself after completing clone C (only the partition I just cloned).
The problem is that the drive also contains partitions for other purposes.
Thx in advance!
