My iPhone 15 Plus gave me an error while on vacation that liquid was detected in the charging port. I did not submerge my phone in any water but I did walk with it in my hand while walking along the beach (not swimming, just barefoot on the shoreline). I gave it some time and tried again, got the same error. Tried another charger and it charged. Got home and it was working fine for a couple days, now charging is spotty again. I looked at the charging port and was wondering if it looks different than it’s supposed to. Can anyone show photos of the charging ports on their 15? Trying to avoid a trip to Apple, ugh.

I don’t see any issues in the picture. Have you tried other cables? Might be a bit of “gunk” in there, which might be best cleaned by a store to prevent damage.

Personally I don’t use the charging port at all, just MagSafe.
