How to upgrade to High Sierra from El Capitan?

I never took the Sierra update but would like to update to High Sierra on my 2014 rMBP. However I'm not being given the update option in the App Store, presumably because I didn't take the Sierra update (which I'm also no longer being offered as an update). Lesson learned not to skip updates. What would be the best way to update to High Sierra from El Capitan?

Does macOS High Sierra appear on the front of the App Store? If not, go to the macOS High Sierra page on Apple's site - in the upper right there should be a button to "upgrade now"
