I have an HP Office jet 5610 and I;m using OS 10.4 on a powerbook G4. I went to HP's site (see below) and downloaded the software for scanning and such and then I also downloaded the print-only driver. I ran the print only installer and then I installed the software so I can scan, copy, etc. I ran the HP set-up utility and everything. BUT, the printer was never added to the system's list of pritners. So I went to add it manually, but the OS could not find the driver (.PPD file). So I downloaded the print-only driver again and ran the installer again. Still, nothing. I'm not sure what the heck it's installing, but it sure ain't the printer driver. I even searched in the folder where the drivers are stored and it's not there. SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP ME! I really don't want to have to call HP support.

Thanks!
Fred
