Carrier Husband's phone keeps disconnecting to blue tooth and wifi

He's not with me here right now, but i think this is his problem. He has a 6 Plus and since last weekend it continues to disconnect from blue tooth in his car and also has an issue with Wifi. I think i helped him with that (without actually seeing it i don't know for sure) but the blue tooth is a concern. He has taken it to the Apple store even though he doesn't have Apple care (he has the ATT version which is worthless). I think they did a hard reset, but that does not seem to have helped. What else can he do? I told him he needed to go to the ATT store directly (not customer service on the phone) and tell them exactly what is wrong. I told him this was a good resource and could hopefully get a good answer for him too! Thanks so much for any help you can give me.
