I need to pick up a new flash drive, and this time I want to get something that I can use with my iPhone and iPad. The primary use isn't to back up photos, watch videos or what have you, but to access documents that I get from other people via USB; at school and work, I am surrounded primarily by people who bring laptops and pass most files via USB rather than cloud storage. Also, since I don't bring my MacBook with me all the time, I use the computer lab for anything that can't be done by an iPad and it's more convenient and safer to save files to a USB drive than it is to log into Dropbox or my mailbox.

The question now is, which is more worth it, a wireless flash drive or a USB-Lightning hybrid drive? The wireless drive is cheaper, but is reliant on battery life while the hybrid doesn't need a battery, but is pricier. Thoughts?
