I went into iTunes preferences, and under the "SHOW" category, put a check mark in the the "Applications" box.. after that close preferences, and an Applications links shows up on the left side of iTunes under the Library category.. click on Applications, on the bottom right hand corner there's a "Get more Apps" link, click it and it will automatically take you to the AppStore.. no need to type search in the search field..

Thanks for posting this, I was unable to see it either. I checked a few pages down but couldn't find a post, so I am glad that you posted it.

It will also automatically appear once youve downloaded your first app from the itunes app store
