I need to Upgrade from Sierra but it might be too late

Hi All, I have a late 2013 iMac running Sierra. I need to upgrade to use the latest Creative Cloud, but I can't work out how to.
Can anyone tell me if its too late to upgrade?

Not too late but Catalina is the highest you can go. It will probably run like a dog unless you have a SSD in your iMac.

I do have an SSD. Do you happen to know how I do the upgrade?
