I was browsing through Reddit on my iPad through safari, then a link took me to Imgur, right after that I went to go take a dump, after opening up my app switcher I saw that Imgur was able to be handed off from my iPad (using safari) to my iPhone (using the actual Imgur app) even though I don't even have the Imgur app on my iPad.

Quite interesting

Quite interesting

It's neat but it's not new. App devs can "claim" their own URL for handoff and it can work both ways, site -> app or app-> site, depending on availability. I've had an app for a forum all through iOS 9 that has the capability
