I recently got the m1 iPad referbished and I was excited that I would be able to use stage manager. Turns out, I think it is more work to use and is not very user friendly. It often gets in the way. My Magic Keyboard often wont let me type if I open a new window.

its not the worst thing, and I don’t hate it. I see its benefits. However, I think there are so many obstacles for it to be a joy to use.

What has been your experience? Is there something I am missing?

I really like it, I like how it looks, and I’m not disappointed that it isn’t MacOS’ windowing. It took less than a week for me to get used to how it works on my 13” screen. One improvement I would like is a gesture to show all windows on the current stage, similar to what MacOS does. That would be an improvement over the current Globe + ` .
