Hi all,
I purchased an iBook G4 933 in February of last year, and have overall been delighted with its performance. I got it maxed out at 640mb RAM, which is, it has to be said, a slightly miserable RAM allowance in this day and age. I faintly recall reading somewhere that 1GB RAM modules were being offered by third party manufacturers for this model a while back, am I mistaken? If not, where can they be purchased? I've looked around but the only 1GB modules that I can find are for G4 iBooks 1gHz and above. Besides, the official Apple line is that 640mb is the maximum, so is there a built-in limit on RAM (i.e. it won't recognise more than 640mb)?
