ok, so i have an old ibook g4
specs are as follows...

powerbook6,5
cpu speed: 1.2ghz
L2 Cache (per CPU) 512KB
number of cpu's: 1
memory: 768MB
Boot rom version: 4.8.7F1
Buss speed: 133MHz

My question is, i want to delete everything on it..passwords, information and everything w/o having to re-install the OS. is this possible? like a hard reset?

if not, how can i install mac osx tiger?

does it come in like 3 cds?

EDIT: THANKS I figured it out! Google is my friend!
:)

If you don't want to reformat (which is the only way to fully remove all personal information), then just create a new User Account with Administrator privileges then deleted your old accounts.
