iBook Mods

Hey all I have done a good amount of researching ibook mods.

I may be getting an old ibook g3 without a hd,battery, and powercord.

besides the point what do you all suggest doing for mods?

i have seen many things on color changes etc.

can I put a powerbook keyboard on it? what else is out there i can do to it?

You could go all black by painting the inside the same way the blue of the bottom case on that link was done. The problem would be that you can't change the color of the wristpad areas without directly painting those, and I wouldn't recommend that. I've seen some iBook online that had a clear trackpad area, but he had gotten it from Japan while there, and I haven't for the life of me been able to find anything similar anywhere. If you find one, let me know!
