When drag away iCal notifications, they reappear over and over again. It is very annoying. It's been like this since Big Sur. Now I'm using Monterey.

I found an article that said it might be due to some home folder ACL rights. So I started up in Recovery Mode and ran 'repairHomePermissions', which did its job.

Still, iCal notifications are reappearing over again.

Any suggestion on how to fix this?

this isn't the monterey forum, it's the ventura forum! but have you checked system preferences>notifications>calendar? are they turned off there? or checked in calendar: preferences>alerts..?

Monterey was typo. I'm at Ventura 13.1.

I don't want to disable iCal notifications. The expected behaviour should be that a notification is presented once, not infinite until past event-time. When a notification is dismissed and that it is not configured with an alert, it should disappear.
