iPad iCloud Drive: PDF two page view

I'd like to be able to do as much as the following as possible whilst reading pdf's directly from iCloud Drive:
highlight,
View in a two page view,
Change to night reading mode (inverts screen).

I can't find these features when opening a pdf in iCloud Drive. How can I get any of these to work?

I am using an iPad Pro.
