General iCloud missing function?

I've noticed in icloud settings it no longer has the 'back up now' option in iOS8.
My phone sometimes doesn't back up for a while for whatever reason and I usually end up force starting it using this method.
What happens now if I get a new device and want to back up first, so my new device gets the most current restore? I have to wait until iOS 'decides' to back up?
It's every other day the auto backup isn't it?

I still have the "Back Up Now" option...

Thanks, I've found it now. It used to be on the same screen as the 'time of last backup', but now it has its own 'backup' icon mixed in with the other backup options.
