Currently having some iCloud sync issues. I logged into iCloud.com and there was a message about some services not being available due to maintenance. However the apple services outage page does not show any outages.

I logged out of iCloud on my mac (most recent OS w/all updates), and now it does not appear to be re-downloading contacts.

iCloud.com does appear to have all of my most recent synced data. It just isn't syncing to all of my devices presently.

I assume this will be resolved by itself later today, but I figured that anyone else with this issue might want to know that they're not alone.

Edit… Of course after trying to solve the issue for an hour, then posting about it here: five minutes later the problem resolved itself.
