I have an iPhone SE2 (iOS 17.1), and I've been using My Photo Stream until it got discontinued. I switched over to iCloud Photos and it sort of worked until now.

Recently, it has been saying "Syncing..." for 3 weeks without actually uploading anything. I have one single photo on my iPhone, and zero photos in iCloud, so it should not take this long to complete to upload one photo.

I'm paying for the iCloud 50 GB plan and there's plenty of space left. Works fine on my Mac (photos get uploaded/downloaded fast).

I've tried disabling and enabling iCloud Photos but it didn't change anything. I've also restarted the iPhone many times.

I've also signed out of iCloud completely on my phone, restarted, then signed back in. When I enable iCloud Photos, at first it uploads photos on my phone, but then says "Syncing..." again forever and stops uploading/downloading any new photos.

Anything else I can try?
