MP All Models Identifying port numbers on 5,1 and 6,1?

Hi there,

OK...so I'm a little bored but I was just taking a look round the back of both my 5,1 and 6,1 and just wondering what port numbers might be assigned to the various USB, FireWire & Ethernet ports on the back (and front) if any?

I was just curious if the RJ45 ports are assigned as RJ45 /1 Left and RJ45 /2 Right for example as my OCD needs to know!

I have seen the 6,1 Firewire ports listed somewhere as;

Port 1 Port 2
Port 3 Port 4
Port 5 Port 6

So shall I assume the same numbering logic applies to the USB ports located above and 1 Left/2 Right for the RJ45 ports located below and the numbering on the 5,1 follows a similar numbering convention left to right?

And before anyone says I'm being too fussy or anything I've just spent the last 10 minutes cleaning the case on the 6,1 with Meguiars Gold Class Premium Quik Detailer and microfibre cloths!
