idvd6 help

running idvd 6.0.1 on 10.4.5 on a 1.42 mac mini

i've used several themes and heres the issue i'm having.

after the 8 hour encode to disk image i can play back my dvd and it looks fine.

however when i play it on a dvd player parts of the video get somewhat jumpy and unwatchable.

i'm using a 90 minute dv ntsc file that i'm bringing directly into idvd. i set to do chapters every 10 minutes. and in some places the video is fine.. but in orders it's all jumpy.

is this an issue with idvd encoding? my mac mini? the dv file?
the dv file does play back fine.
and the video isn't jumpy always in the same places. i'm doing better quality for options.

help would be awesome

I have had this happen from time to time. In my case I have found the problem to be the quality of the DVD disks themselves.

strange that none of my other dvd burns have this problem. they all play perfectly in the same dvd players.

however only idvd ones see to have this varying issue.
